Chikarashi - City of New York

One of my favorite poke bowl spots in the city offers consistently high-quality fresh fish! I decided to try the Chikarashi Flight to sample several options, and the tuna ended up being my favorite. Everything was delicious!

The eel was so tough that it was practically inedible. I wouldn’t recommend it.

The Salmon Kama is exceptional. The blend of flavors is spot-on, and the quality of the ingredients is top-notch. I frequently order this dish.

If you're looking for a gourmet poke bowl experience, this is the place to go! The quality of the food is outstanding, and you can really taste it. While the prices are higher than what you might find at a regular poke bowl restaurant, I believe it's worth every penny if you're willing to treat yourself a bit! If you're unsure of what to order, I recommend trying the Chikarashi flight, which offers a small tasting menu featuring three of their bowls.

This restaurant is incredible, offering amazing food. We happened upon it while searching for a place to eat, and it far exceeded our expectations. The flavors were expertly crafted, and the fish was remarkably fresh. The sign in the restaurant indicates that fresh fish is shipped in daily and prepared on-site, which I fully believe. The preparation was beautifully done, and the taste was perhaps the best I've ever experienced.
