The bagels are MASSIVE the spreads are properly savory. Both combinations were delicious: I liked the scallion/everything more my husband liked the jalapeño sundried tomato/onion...so you really can't go wrong with either! Service was friendly, relatively fast (they're busy on a Saturday around 11/12 that's to be expected), and the value for price was great. We'll definitely return!

If you're trying to get an authentic bagel, go elsewhere: They steam their bagels, rather than boiling them, and so you're not going to get a traditional bagel: They're very large, a little dry, kind of crunchy. That being said, these folks move sandwiches like nobody's business, they'll throw anything you want on a bagel, and it's the size of your head. It's a utilitarian spot for when you need something huge to shove in your face, rather than the place you bring your out of town friends to show them a New York delicacy. RIP Lenny's.

Fast, efficient and friendly service. Standard bagel shop setting with display counter. Bagels are solid, not life changing, but check all the boxes. I need a neighborhood bagel place. Lenny's (RIP) was my go to, and left a hole in my psyche (pun intended). My girlfriend is not a fan of B'way Bagel, saying the bagels are too large. Seeing my bagel, she has a point, but that's not a deal breaker for me. Now, I broke a cardinal rule and instead of ordering a plain bagel as a control I ordered pumpernickel. The pumpernickel was quite serviceable good tooth resistance to the crust, and decently chewy. Lox spread was very good with ample pieces of fish. Black coffee was very good. Though I will not dream of this store when I'm out of town, but this place is a go.

Efficient, quick service. Got a garlic bagel with jalapeños sun dried tomato cream cheese which was excellent. The coffee was pretty good too. My g/f got a bagel with egg salad which was also pretty good. It's a no frills bagel shop with really good bagels!

Great bagels best on the upper west side. Go for the bacon egg and cheese whole wheat everything if you can! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
