Bathtub Gin - City of New York

If you have a strong affinity for gin, Bathtub Gin is a pretty good option. It billed itself as a speakeasy, and while the entrance is indeed unmarked, the vibes inside are much closer to a conventional bar. It was extremely busy and almost impossible to carry a conversation due to the sound. Likely won't return.

Beautiful speakeasy. Setting and vibes are definitely timely. Went there for an industry night, crossover with a nice uptown cocktail bar. Burlesque show was on that night, which was beautiful. Drinks are pricey but i feel everyone needs to go there at least once.

Small bar/ speakeasy with a line in the front that I would not wait for ever so we came back later after midnight and it was half empty but it had a great vibe! Place is definitely original with its bath tubs in the middle of the main room and in the bathroom. Great service in the bathrooms. Drinks were great! Barman was a bit reserved but it was already closing time. We sat at the bar and had a good time.

Absolutely loved my experience here! Came here to celebrate my birthday and the whole experience was so beautifully done. Venu is cute and private. I love the classic vibes. Food is decent and price is not bad at all!! Burlesque show on Sunday was FABULOUS. All the dancers were talented and beautiful, I'm so glad i got to experience this. Our waiter could of had a better attitude but he did good for the most part. I definitely want to come back again soon.

This was the very first speakeasy I visited in NYC and it didn’t disappoint. I had an amazing time here. The drinks were fantastic, I ordered Tokyo Nights (must try).
