The Soho Grill

Skip the McDonald's near the Pub and head to this restaurant instead. We decided to eat in the bar area, with a table overlooking Charing Cross Road. The food was delicious and served piping hot, which I love. I had the Garlic Chicken Schnitzel with chips, while my wife enjoyed the Hand Pulled Lamb Shank Shepherd's Pie, filled with hearty pieces of lamb. She said it was one of the best shepherd's pies she's ever had. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was cozy. Next time we're in London, we'll definitely stop by again. And don't judge me for eating with my fork in my right hand and knife in my left – I'm not the only one who does it!

A must-visit during a tour of historical pubs. This particular one was decent. It's a great pub in a pleasant area. You can't go wrong with a visit here.

The recommended pie is delicious. Thank you for tasting beer.
