Sarawana Bhawan Wembley

I am from Chennai and have been to many Saravana Bhawan restaurants since 2001. I have visited various branches in London since 2005. Wembley is the latest one I have experienced, and based on all my visits, it will be my last. The restaurant recently underwent a refurbishment and changed its look. However, they have significantly increased their prices while the quality and customer experience have decreased. We ordered Cauliflower Manchuria, which was overly salty and unpleasant. Despite our complaint, they insisted on remaking it and forcing us to eat it. We also tried Paneer Makhani, which had a different taste than the typical Saravana Bhavan flavors and was also too salty for our liking. It seems that many of the staff may not have had exposure to the original Saravana Bhavan in Tamil Nadu, therefore lacking knowledge of its authentic taste, quality, and values. Overall, while the refurbishment may have improved the appearance of the restaurant, the food is now overpriced and lacking in both quality and flavor. It is not worth the money compared to other nearby restaurants. My friends and I have decided not to return to this location again.

On April 28, 2024, I had my first visit to this restaurant in years and I was pleased to find excellent food and service. I want to thank the staff for providing top-notch food and a friendly, professional service. The mini idlis were a hit with the kids. Special thanks to all the chefs for their hard work and dedication. I will definitely be returning soon!

The food at this restaurant in Wembley is awful and overpriced, and the service is poor. I would recommend avoiding this place if you are expecting the same quality vegetarian food as other Saravanaa Bhavan locations in east London. Additionally, they added a 10% service charge to the bill, but removed it once we pointed out how poor their service was.

I went to this vegetarian restaurant to try one of their thali. I must say the food was very good. I have done a video review of this place search the name of this restaurant with Beemer Beys Productions on Youtube.

Very good service Vaibhav worth the mention! Food is very tasty and fresh! Enjoyed very much and strongly recommend if you like traditional South Indian vegetarian food.
