I've been to this cafe for the last few years before an event at the Savoy. A few of us meet up for a coffee. This year there were five of us. Two arrived early and ordered coffee. Americano's. Not cheap. It was weak, dull and tasteless, Weird for a coffee shop. Dull as dishwater. So bad that I handed it back to the staff saying it was weak and horrible. Not a word of apology. I was just TOLD that it only had one shot of coffee. Well I am sorry but that is just not good enough. An americano shouldn't be weak and if that was one shot there is something wrong with your coffee machine, it tasted like second hand coffee grounds. When the rest of our party arrived we just left, so you missed out on the other custom and we won't be back. Train your staff in customer service, there was NONE. The coffee was dreadful, the staff were having a hissy fit over a delivery and couldn't care less about the customers in the shop. Not good enough. Won't be back.

Small restaurant beyond description. Difficult to place our lunch order on the miniscule table. Our table was Jammed up against the toilet door. Customers had to pass each other walking side ways. Food the baguettes were almost inedible being so tough [fillings very nice] coffee ok but not to the standard set by the National Theatre. I'll not be returning

This cozy café is bustling with tables crammed in. They have a restroom available. The menu features a variety of delightful French-style cakes, as well as sandwiches and quiches. We opted for tea and cake during our visit.

The service at this restaurant was satisfactory but the staff seemed unfriendly. The cider was very disappointing, as it was weak and lacked flavor. The chai was overly sweet and lacked any distinct taste. Overall, I would recommend this place only as a spot to sit down and rest.

For a quick lunch at a good price I would highly this cafe. It’s a bit of a find in such a usually expensive location. The sandwiches are lovely and the price really reasonable. The service was also very nice and the cafe clean. It’s in a great location with easy access to the Strand, Trafalgar Square, Westminster. I thought it deserved a nice review.
