Packhorse Pub

This gastropub is fantastic, with a charming atmosphere and exceptionally friendly staff. The food is of great quality and beautifully presented. The menu offers a variety of options, from traditional dishes to more unique selections. The flavors are both creative and delicious.

We had made a reservation at this restaurant two weeks in advance, requesting a table in the downstairs room where dogs are allowed. However, when we arrived 30 minutes early, we were told without apology that our table had been given to another party with mobility issues and we were seated upstairs instead. This meant we had to leave our dog in the car, which was disappointing. We were also disappointed that we were not informed in advance of this change. The food was tasty, but the service was not up to par. Our server, who seemed inexperienced, lacked the expertise and professionalism we would expect at a restaurant of this caliber.
