Kastner Ovens

This restaurant is a popular spot with a queue outside when I arrived. The service was quick and the staff was helpful and nice. The food was tasty but the small portions were overpriced, especially considering it is canteen food made in bulk. I found that at other cafes in the area, I could get a larger portion for a similar price. I would recommend a visit, but don't expect a lot for your money.

Stumbling upon this charming cafe was a delightful discovery! My wife and I returned every morning while in London to enjoy their delicious coffees and mouthwatering selection of breakfast treats. Sue, the owner, was incredibly warm and accommodating, even offering helpful tips for sightseeing. This is my first ever Tripadvisor recommendation and I highly suggest paying this place a visit!

My wife and I were thrilled to find the salad we were looking for at this takeout-only restaurant. The setup is quite unique, reminiscent of Botanica in Australia. They also offer a tempting selection of pastries, which, albeit not the healthiest options, were delicious and enjoyed by both my wife and myself.

I have always enjoyed and loved the food at Kastner and Ovens, it is absolutely delicious and tasty. However, it is a real shame that the staff is so rude and unpleasant. They seem pissed to be serving their customers ad every time someone asks for some information about the products, they reply in a very aggressive and arrogant manner or do not reply at all.

I have been buying my work lunch from Kastner Ovens for 13 years. The shop is there mainly to serve the lunchtime trade, as they start to clear up after 2pm. The salads and cooked meals are prepared fresh every day and the menu changes every day. Whats more the food is priced to provide excellent value when you compare what is provided by other establishments. The highest commendation I can give them is that my plate is cleared every day.
