Cheap and cheerful Indian cuisine. a friend and I came here after a show as it was one of the few places after 9 o'clock. service was met and missed with some staff friendly than others, but eating came fast. my Aloo-Gobi could have been spicier and the garlic nan was a little dry, but it was still delicious enough and the prices were decent. I would not recommend this for a nice eating, but if they are in the opposite, looking for somewhere late night with decent eating then it is good.
Late Friday evening after getting our fix at Lamb and Flag (which doesn't serve food after 5 pm BTW), we were hunting for a place to eat. Everything was shut or were already done with last orders. This was still open. Terrible service, even though the place was empty. Food was okay. Too spicy and really, killed my sense of taste. Naan wasn't great either. On my Indian food trail, 1. Gymkhana 2. Saravanan Bhavan 3. The Kati Roll Company 4. Manjal 5. Woodlands 6. Bermondsey Tandoori 7. Bengal Quay Do not try give it a miss! 8. Punjab 9. New Dewanium 10. The Grand Indian

We were shown to our seats, and thrown a menu on the table. The waiter came straight over asking for our order, he didn't listen to anything that was said. I had to repeat myself over and over again, that was just to order a drink, asking what we wanted to eat I was then told to hurry up whilst gesturing with his hand! After a brief exchange of words and the owner...read more
