Golden Union Fish

Great food, great service and great ambiance. Would definitely recommend if love you love British food.

The fish was out of this world, the chips were more in the “just ok” world, but we were going for the fish and it did not disappoint highly recommend!

Had a great meal on a Friday night before going to a concert. The staff were really attentive without being pushy. We enjoyed the meal and lovely that the fish and chips are cooked fresh to order. No hesitation in recommending.

This quaint spot offers two main dishes: haddock and cod, both of which are equally delicious. The cod has a satisfyingly chewy texture, while the haddock is wonderfully flaky—I personally prefer the cod. The only downside was the fries; they were a bit too thick for my taste, as I lean towards thinner, skinnier cuts.

The fish was good, the fries rather boring and the price expensive.
