Golden Grove Pub

Came in as a group and couldn’t be seated due to people taking up larger tables with smaller parties leaving no where for us to sit after half an hour of waiting then sat down to order food and drink , my drink took 20-30 mins to arrive and then my food after 45 minutes still didn’t show up and so when I asked for a refund the staff where very unprofessional and made me feel like it was my fault that the order didn’t come ,they then also proceeded to not give me the money back and send it to my bank, usually I will always stand by a weatherspoons as it’s cheap, fast and friendly service but this weatherspoons in particular was not any of the above I am very very disappointed and shall not return to the golden grove weatherspoons again and I certainly wouldn’t recomend to a friend

Like all Wetherspoon pubs, this is a place where you can get a meal with a drink included for a decent price. But this was the first time ever that I was served a hamburger with the plastic wrapping not being removed before grilling, but served on my plate. Hopefully they are more careful when they serve children.

This restaurant is a great spot to relax with friends, with a great atmosphere and energy. It was packed with people, making for a lively experience. You can't go wrong with a place like this!

The restaurant is in a good location and is a large pub with affordable prices. However, the tables were sticky and it's unclear when they were last cleaned. There were small flies flying around the drinks all night. The toilets were dirty, with the toilet door and toilets themselves in need of a deep clean. I would not recommend this pub. The staff were efficient but not very friendly or welcoming.

Only one person serving food, drinks ordered with the food never arrived. Only go if you have plenty of time to spare.
