Contribuiți la feedbackI recently tried a vegan Burger King Whopper for the first time and was disappointed. I didn't realize that I had to ask for vegan cheese to be added to the burger, which I believe would have greatly improved the taste. The patty tasted like a Boca burger, which was not very satisfying, and the bun was a bit dry. However, I did appreciate that the burger came with American dill pickles, which are hard to find in Britain. The French fries were bland and lacked flavor. While the prices were reasonable compared to other options, I would rather spend a bit more for a better tasting burger at a different restaurant. Burger King should consider using a different type of patty, such as Beyond Meat, to improve the overall taste and texture of their vegan options.
Great buzz both times I visited this pop store whilst visiting London. Great menu and all vegan! Last time I had a BK was 14 years ago, it’s great to see the vegan movement getting mainstream! Make sure you visit while it’s open for a full month trial I think?
This restaurant is truly amazing. The food is delicious, affordable, and vegan, promoting a sense of balance and harmony. While it may not be the healthiest choice for the body, it is sure to nourish the soul. (Reviewed on April 4, 2022)
I was initially impressed by this all-vegan burger restaurant. The menu options were plentiful, but the end result was a bit disappointing. We visited on a busy Saturday evening and ordered the PB-Babak double-Cheezburger and the vegan royale. The vegan royale (chicken and mayo burger) was actually quite delicious: great texture and nice flavors. However, the speck double cheeseburger was a letdown. It didn't look like the picture at all, with flat and dry patties, a small piece of speck, and no sauce. The fries were good, though maybe a bit salty. In conclusion, I would recommend choosing the chicken burgers over the beef burgers.
Burger King are really excelling in the vegan fast food space atm! They've committed to going 50% plant-based by 2030 and turning their flagship store vegan for a month is a clear sign they mean business. The store is fully vegan with an extensive menu including a selection of whoppers, chicken burgers (created by The Vegetarian Butcher and sides including chilli cheese bites and onion rings. I've already tried Burger King's Vegan Royale and Vegan Nuggets (currently available at all their stores) and they're both very impressive, so I was very excited to come to the first all vegan branch! I went with my girlfriend and we got the Vegan Katsu Royale, Plant-based Bakon Double Cheeeze XL, Vegan Chilli Cheeeze bites, Plant-based Onion Rings and Vegan Fries. Firstly, the Katsu Royale was really good even better than I expected, and stole the show for me. The chicken' patty was really tasty and it had crispy onions which added a lovely crunch. The Bakon Double Cheeeze XL was also tasty, but had no sauce so was a bit on the dry side. I added bbq sauce to it which made it a lot juicier and tastier. The Cheeeze bites were also really good the cheese was lovely and melty. I'm not good with spice so the chilli was a bit much for me but my girlfriend said the bites were her favourite part of our meal! The fries and onion rings were also tasty and a great side to the meal. All in all very tasty and I'd definitely recommend coming down here before it closes on the 10th April and reverts back to a regular Burger King! Also, as an extra note for Burger King branches generally, I'd recommend downloading the app as it has LOADS of great discount offers for their vegan food. For example you can get a Vegan Royale for £1.99 every Monday (instead of £4.99 and recently there was even a voucher for a free Vegan Royale without even a purchase! Definitely worth downloading!
