I remember that after many exciting but outgoing exhibitions of the museum often mocked me on a chair in caffe and enjoy my multi-year favorite of benugo: hot cappucino, a double chocolate muffin and an orange almond loaf – about £2-3 or so, plus mwst. I no longer see from these two bakery articles on their menu, not with the same name definitiw – that is sad – but I believe that st. clements almond loaf in the current menu is the same old orange mandelkuchen I had enjoyed in this way; it had the beautifully citrusy taste through the oranges combined with the rich mandel, I think used in the cake as a mandel flour as well. the coffee went very well with the cake. the muffin, the double chocolate is solely of this virtuous, irresistible to me.
Fantastic and efficient. beautiful selection of foods: frittata, suppe, salate, panini and packs. options for vegetarian, gluten-free and even children's lunch sets. easy access and space for children's cars and wheelchairs. the hotel is located at the entrance of the museum so great for a stop before the remembrance or once they are finished.
Pleasant cafeteria with good staff. a part of the museum of london (at the moment) makes it good coffee and drinks, sarnies, packings and the like.
I ordered a T-Rex burger, but it arrived well done. I asked for a replacement, but the second one had ingredients I specifically requested to be left out. The second burger was also overcooked, so I only ate half of it. I do not recommend this restaurant located inside the Natural History Museum. On a positive note, the smoothie was delicious and the museum itself was enjoyable.
I have visited this café a few times and have never been blown away by it, but it is conveniently situated. My recent visit was just for a cup of tea, which was of good quality but a bit on the pricey side – the cost of a pot was only slightly more than that of a single cup.
