I would rate it 0 star if I could. There is a roach inside the drink. The grossest thing was I found it out after I had few drinks. The quality of the tea is so cheap.
Serves one of the best pork chip rice in the country, bar none. The special chicken sandwich is pretty incredible as well. It's a bit tucked away at the old MJ Cafe and mostly runs on word of mouth. If you find yourself nearby, make sure to make a stop. You won't regret it!
I don 't usually write reviews, but I thought that the food and service from To Tea deserved an amazing review. Although it has been a while since my last visit, I remember this place is pretty hard to find. To Tea is located in the former MJ 's Cafe in the same plaza as the SuperCo Furniture and Lost Worlds Laser Tag. My family and I were looking for somewhere to get some lunch to eat on a Sunday afternoon when we noticed that something had moved in. We checked the menu on their Yelp page and picked out the special chicken sandwich, popcorn chicken, the three-cup chicken over rice, and an assortment of drinks. FOOD: All of the food was amazing. All the dishes included chicken, and to my pleasure, none of them were dry. The three-cup chicken had a robust flavor, tasting tangy and sweet with a fantastic balance, and was well-complemented by the rice that they included (also prepared perfectly, something I cannot say for many other restaurants). The popcorn chicken was also amazing- crispy skin with a juicy interior. Not only was the breading prepared nicely, but the seasoning was also well-done. It was not overbearing like other establishments, rather striking a balance between the sweet and savory tones. Last is a special chicken sandwich. If there was one aspect of the food that I had a problem with is that the chicken between the slices of bread was undersized compared to the bread itself. Besides that, the lettuce, chicken, and sauce were all amazing. If I had to recommend just one of the orders that I tried, I would say the three-cup chicken. DRINKS: All the drinks are made fresh, as you get to see the employees make the smoothies and milk tea in front of you if you look into the windows. We ordered a mango tornado and a brown sugar milk tea. I typically order a green milk tea, but the name mango tornado enticed me. Although I was not the biggest fan of it, I can 't deduct any points for my ordering a drink I knew nothing about. From what I could taste, the mango tornado consists of mango, milk, and green tea. None of the flavors especially stood out to me, and seemed more muddled together. However, I allowed my family to try it and they enjoyed it more than I did. Next is the brown sugar milk tea. It was really good and had a nice balance between the sweetness of the brown sugar and the tea flavor. I could tell that they know how to get the best flavor out of their tea, as I personally loved drinking this brown sugar milk tea; something I find myself avoiding typically due to the stigma of establishments oversweetening theirs. OVERALL: Their current star total of 3.5 does not give justice to their quality. I highly recommend coming here if you are craving authentic Chinese/Taiwanese food on a budget. Not only is the food terrific, but the staff is welcoming and seem to enjoy their customers.
Fake beef tongue rice. They use pig tongue instead of beef's. Texture taste way different than beef tongue, disappointed. First and last time trying it. However, their drinks are okay.
