Governor's Tavern - City of Hudson

We stopped by this restaurant on a whim while passing through, and I’m so glad we did! Our bartender, Brian, was quick and attentive, and his recommendations were spot on. We tried the Rhode Island-style calamari, which was absolutely fantastic! We also had a wedge salad and the Nashville hot chicken sandwich, which is nearly on par with Hattie B’s in Nashville. They offer a great selection of local brews along with a full bar, making this spot far from your typical pub food. Just a heads up if you're bringing little ones—the train runs right outside. Overall, it had a very cool vibe, and we definitely plan to return!

I recently stopped by this place to enjoy a pint and catch a soccer match. The bartenders were incredibly friendly and attentive, offering great recommendations for both the beer and the game. While the exterior might not be impressive, the interior had a wonderfully cozy vibe. The selection of wings and beers was excellent!

Our favorite spot in Hudson for a beer and the most delicious fried chicken sandwich around. Food is so much better than it needs to be!

Great old pub with classic American foods done well. Friendly and efficient staff. Really cool beer list with a mix of local and regional favorites. If I lived in Hudson this would be my local.

Fresh, rotating craft beer selection, simple (but delicious) menu (with daily specials). Outstanding XXX hot sauce! Friendly and enthusiastic bartender that seems to actually like her job, and it shows?. Fatally enhanced the experience. She even gave a history lesson about Hudson to other customers. Highly recommend this place! Everything is made fresh as well. Don?t miss the old bay fries
