Feast And Floret - City of Hudson

If you're in town, make sure to visit this restaurant. It has a warm and beautiful ambiance, making it ideal for a romantic date. The food, especially the pasta, was outstanding and surpassed all expectations. The staff was equally remarkable.

Whilst my partner would have given it a 4* review I felt my vegetarian dishes were not as comparable in flavour, especially for the price. In a similar vibe if not feeling like we got the best option, our waiter was cold and distant compared to the tablesjust a couple down where warmth and enthusiasm abounded. The venue is a visual treat to behold, and feels cosy and intimate andthe maitre?d is welcoming and professional as can be. I also respect any venue that puts care into the music selection andvolume it?s played and and it was more perfect in every way there.

I had a wonderful lunch at this restaurant, so much so that I’ve already made a reservation for dinner in two weeks! The interior is stunning. We were seated in the bar area, which provided a lovely backdrop for our meal. Our server, Russell, was fantastic and very knowledgeable about the menu. The food truly transported us to Italy. We particularly loved the mushroom pasta and the meatballs. The pasta portions are reminiscent of Italy, designed as a primi (first course) rather than the oversized servings typically found in most American restaurants. The flowers were beautiful, and we couldn’t resist taking a bouquet home. What made them even more special was the unique filler included with the stems.

We were so pleased to have chosen this restaurant for our special dinner on our first night in Hudson. There were many vegetarian options available, and everything I tried was delicious. My boyfriend opted for the duck special appetizer, which he thoroughly enjoyed. The restaurant can get quite busy, so I recommend making a reservation. We will definitely return on our next visit to Hudson!

Our food was hands down the best! We had the smoked duck, speck stone fruit, gazpacho, fennel salad, ricotta gnocchi, olive oil cake and budino. Fabulous. It's a charming farm to table restaurant.
