Contribuiți la feedbackAt Suzie Wong's, the experience was a complete turnaround. The staff was incredibly attentive and courteous, consistently checking in on us during our meal. We chose to sit on their patio, which was lovely. The food was outstanding—everything we ordered was flavorful and delicious. We will definitely be returning!
I've visited Suzie Wong's four times now, and the food has been excellent each visit. The waitstaff is very knowledgeable about the menu and they are accommodating when it comes to customizing dishes since everything is made to order. I will definitely be returning!
1) Spring Rolls: I struggled to find any vegetables in these; they were filled with a strange gray paste. I didn’t try one personally, but they didn’t look appealing, and my dining companion was quite disgusted. In hindsight, she may have received an egg roll instead of a spring roll. 2) Pad Thai: Overall, it was average. I was informed it was gluten-free (they do offer gluten-free soy sauce), and I sincerely hope that’s the case, especially since I suspect they mixed up the spring roll with an egg roll. 3) Pineapple Chicken: This dish was served in a quarter of a pineapple, and the presentation was cool. However, I found it overly sweet for my taste. 4) Grilled Chicken Salad: This was probably the biggest letdown. The chicken didn’t appear to be grilled at all; it was most likely cooked in a different manner, possibly indicating they don’t actually have a grill. It was sent back twice for being undercooked. The waitress genuinely tried to correct it, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the chicken resembled an unappetizing clump of pale meat with no grill marks whatsoever. Overall, I don’t have many positive remarks about this restaurant. None of the dishes, including the appetizer, pleased anyone in our group. Spending $45 for three people isn't steep, but when the food fails to satisfy, it feels like a waste. I usually enjoy restaurants that repurpose older spaces, particularly in Over-the-Rhine. However, this establishment, with its shabby vibe, felt better suited for a historic building. Instead, it occupies a rather dated new construction adorned with tacky red and black decor, which didn’t make for an enjoyable dining experience. I would have liked to return to try the Pho and ahi tuna, but unfortunately, I don’t plan to come back.
Love this place! So close and prices are reasonable. Big fan of the pineapple chicken and the clear potato noodles! Moved to east walnut hills only a couple months but I've already been here more than any other restaurant!
I'm becoming a bigger fan of Suzie Wong's with each visit! I have been three times, first with my parents, second was for take out and third was dining in late Saturday evening. My parents are a fan of the pho noodle soups. Our take out order included lo mein and general tsos chicken with rice, it was all fine no big standout. With the most recent visit, we ordered two egg rolls and the Japanese udon noodle. Order the udon dish immediately, the flavor was so savory and delicious, and the beef was cooked nicely!
