Rock Bottom Brewery Restaurant - Cincinnati

We came here to celebrate my daughter's birthday and everything was fantastic. The food was delicious and the server was very friendly.

Overall, everything was quite good. The fish tacos were unique with a combination of soft and crunchy shell. The French dip was delicious, although smaller than depicted in the menu. I tried the raspberry beer and the orange blossom beer, both of which were excellent but didn't complement the food well. I would only order them again if I was just there for a drink. We went before a Reds game and the restaurant was not very busy. The service was good.

The waitress was rude, the music was way too loud even after we asked them to kindly turn it down a notch and the food was awful! Three of us had the same salad and they all turned out different . The chicken on it was dried out and tasted old. We have been there several times in the past and enjoyed. Must have a new cook and good waitresses have fled!

Seemed busier than usual, being Cinco de Mayo on Fountain Square. Check-in was a bit chaotic but we were seated at our booth quickly. The cheeseburger I got was more done than I ordered and the fries were only luke warm. Usually the food is great. I recommended the delicious fish and chips last month. Perhaps the kitchen was a bit overwhelmed this visit. I still like this place.

I was hoping so much to enjoy this place after hearing about it from a friend. The 2am burger was great, but the mac’n’cheese that we were told it was “Amazing... the best... we have to try it!” was cold, dry noodles, with a hair on the bottom. To be fair I didn’t complain, but I was also in a position that it would have awkward to say anything. The ambiance was the same to me as any sit down, nothing special but not bad. The service was pretty good, but again nothing to stand out. Overall just a meh experience that I traveled an hour to and from for, paid for parking in a garage (not owned by the restaurant btw! Just to clarify) and paid close to 30 for one meal (that I didn’t really enjoy) and lemonade. Kind of a bummer.
