Contribuiți la feedbackThe server we had was great but the food wasn?t . Ordered the filet mignon medium and it tasted and looked like a well done sirloin . When I asked if it was the sirloin she said ?that?s not the sirloin but that does look different than the usual filet ? and that was all. My friend got the angry max with no sausage . It came out with no sausage or shrimp . When they brought the shrimp out it was dry and not flavorful and was expected to be mixed into the already dry macaroni. This was a birthday celebration dinner that turned into a flop .
Was told by my friends that I needed to try a German place while I was in Cincinnati, and I found this place while strolling along the river. Despite a Red's game going on next door, they were able to find a table for me immediately and the service was excellent. I looked at all the beers they brew on the menu and there were enough that looked good that I needed to get a sampler. All 4 of the beers were excellent and I wanted to get full glasses of all of them. I also got the German sausage platter which was very good. The Brussel sprouts were flavorful and the apple kraut had a nice kick to it. Both of the sausages were full of flavor and paired nicely with the beers I got. Overall this is a fantastic lager house with a wonderful location right by the river and the ballpark with great views, friendly staff, and a great selection of food and drink. I will definitely need to come back and try some more of what they have to offer next time I am in Cincinnati and bring some friends as well
You can never go wrong with a beer flight and theirs is only $8 for 4 selections. The buffalo wings and fish were all cooked perfectly. The shrimp with garlic and red pepper flakes, fire! We all enjoyed everything we got. Excellent customer service. All staff were friendly and accommodating of our requests.
This used to be my favorite place in Cincinnati/NKY. They have changed the menu quite a bit over the past few years. The atmosphere is very cool, and many tables have a great view of the Ohio River. The beer is excellent. It's brewed at Christian Moerlein brewery in town, and they always have season options available. You can get a big 34 oz beer which is nice. The prices have gone up recently, and over the last couple of years the level of service has gone way down. It has gone from a great mid-priced restaurant to an okay expensive restaurant. Today I had the garlic three-cheese burger with garlic parm fries $15) and a large traditional lager. Burger was just okay, especially for the price. Fries were nice and crispy but needed more parmesan. Beer was excellent. My wife had the buffalo wings. Came with 10 wings. Again just okay for $15. Pretty disappointing experience.
This place is the type of place where wypipo listen to Yacht Rock while drinking a sub par IPA, and wearing salmon shorts after a game of golf. It?s not my forte but the burgers are amazing as well as the Sriracha Caesar Salad! We prefer more of a dive y atmosphere but this place is super clean, upscale with corporate mediocrity for decor attractive to suburban visitors to downtown it?s a ?safe? space. Contrasting to the flavor of the burgers the atmosphere is kind of bland. We will come back because it?s good food and the burger week burgers rocked. Tons of seating great for larger parties; and the service was sufficient/good so you really can?t go wrong.
