The atmosphere is decorated with Western-themed items like bull heads and cowboy motifs. The food was enjoyable and typical of a steakhouse. I visited during lunchtime and ordered the cheeseburger with cheddar cheese.

We arrived right at our usual time of 9 o'clock on a Friday, and while it was still quite busy, we expected the evening to go well. We were eager to see which great server we would have, but a girl with high energy appeared to take our drink orders. We ordered long pour margaritas and two water glasses. She later returned and explained, while mixing our drinks, that she only needed to pour them into glasses at her other job. We had to ask for straws and only received two for our four drinks. We ordered the Wild West shrimp, which was as delicious as ever, but had to ask for ranch dressing to go with it. When we ordered our food, we were disappointed to learn they were out of bruises and mushrooms. No worries, we ordered a salad and grilled swirls instead, along with steakhouse mac and cheese for him and potatoes for me. His salad, which was ordered with Thousand Island, only came with ranch dressing. When our steaks arrived, we were asked to cut into them to check the doneness, which was fine, but then we realized that she had no intention of returning to our table. My partner waited almost 10 minutes before asking for the steak sauce he had forgotten to mention when she dropped the food off. I didn’t find out that my steak didn’t come with grilled swirls until after she was gone. He ended up with a side of regular mac and cheese instead of the steakhouse mac and cheese we had ordered. We grew tired of waiting and eating—two medium-sized 6oz filets (which were excellent), an order of grilled swirls, an ordinary mac and cheese, and a side of potatoes, all of which had cooled by the time we decided we wouldn't be seeing our waitress again in time to enjoy our meal. Finally, she returned and questioned the uneaten mac and cheese. It seemed like she hadn't even noticed that the steaks had already been eaten. We asked for the check, acknowledging that this is not the standard for Longhorn. We will definitely make sure to avoid sitting in her section if we decide to give it another try.

My family and I have visited this restaurant several times, and we've always enjoyed our experience. The food is usually prepared according to our specifications, which is great. The service is also good, and I understand that servers can only attend to one table at a time, so it's understandable if they take a little longer to return during busy nights. We're definitely looking forward to going back!
