Fantastic Wok - Cincinnati

This is not just our favorite Chinese takeout; it’s the best one out there. We used to live nearby and have spent years searching for another place that matches the quality of Fantastic Wok. The food is delicious, and the family that operates the restaurant is always friendly and enjoyable to converse with. It truly is one of Cincinnati’s hidden gems.

I ordered the vegetable egg foo young, vegetable fried rice, hot and sour soup, and sesame chicken. Everything was delicious, though I found the chicken to be a bit overcooked. The flavors were incredible, and the gravy for the egg foo young was the best I've ever had—perhaps even better than my own!

I ordered shrimp fried rice with onions, peas, carrots, eggs, and bean sprouts, and it was absolutely delicious! I wish it had come that way by default, but the lovely lady who took my order made it happen. She even called me to let me know my order was ready, which was very thoughtful. I will definitely return!

This was the worst Chinese food I have ever had. The chicken was not chicken and I am unsure what was in the spring rolls. The restaurant was dirty and sketchy. I never give bad reviews but I feel people need to be warned. Would not allow me to give no stars.
