Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen - Cincinnati

Never been to Cheddars, so gave it a try. Had a basic cheeseburger and subbed out the fries for the red beans rice. The burger was medium+ and I thought it might be more cooked than I prefer, but it was so juicy and delicious. The beans and rice wereoutstanding, they could offer a bowl option, tack on some garlic bread and make that side an entree choice instead, kinda likea gumbo. Service was good albeit a touch slow.

The hostess and waitress we had went out of their way to provide a great experience for us. The restaurant was very busy, but even the manager managed to stop by and check in us. The food was top notch and everyone enjoyed their meals. The prices werereasonable and better than most of the other area restaurants for similar meals. This our go to place when taking out familyand meeting friends because everyone can find something they like, even when they are gluten free.

This was a very nice first visit for us at the restaurant. Parking is very close to the entrance and wheelchair-accessible should you need it. We shared the spinach dip appetizer with our friends who brought us. There was enough for the four of us toshare. We ordered plain iced tea with half sweet tea without a problem. Because it was lunchtime, My friend and I shared adinner portion of salmon, which we thought was delicious! It was served with rice and broccoli and presented attractively. Thehoney croissants were very tasty and disappeared like magic. There were no issues with the attentive waiter who brought anextra plate for splitting our meal. The restaurant was busy, but we got our food hot and we didn't have to wait a long time forit.

My husband and I went to dinner with another couple we all ordered a little bit of everything so we could try it since it was our first time? we started with the triple dipper sampler all of the dips were pretty good?we tried th baby back ribs they werefall off the bone tender and seasoned well? My husband ordered the blackened salmon over rice ???????? IT WAS SEASONED PERFECTand cooked really well?I had the ribeye medium temp cooked perfectly?red beans and rice were really tasty as well as the loadedmash?The pot pie on the other hand I didn?t like so much?The staff was very attentive and the restaurant itself was beautifulall around great experience and food. ????????????????????????

Antonio or Leon as we called him was excellent. He catered every need an whim at the drop of a hat. He answered every question no matter how annoying. Even showed my 9yr old some attention. She was feeling down an him smiling an talking to her made herday. Something simple as answering her questions an not shushing her was all that mattered at that time.
