Boswell Alley - Cincinnati

Our favorite place for brunch because it's so darn CHEAP for an omelet and other things. So many other restaurants have understandably raised their prices owing to the current crisis, but Boswells has not. Sadly, they have suffered the usual lack of staff and the wait for our order was two hours, but that is unusual. The wait was worth it since we went with several other people and had a good time. Also, when they have bands playing, it an even better experience. Also, the drinks are reasonably priced, unlike some other places in Northside.

I go to Boswell's for various things, numerous times a week. My wife and I go other places too but Boswell's is our default. It's a warm friendly place with good food and drink. My wife and I have built numerous friendships there and they go out of their way to satisfy you. They work hard to have pretty good live music there as well, and never with a cover charge. That's pretty exceptional for a little place like Boswell's. It's kind of like stepping onto the set of Cheers. At Boswell's, like most small businesses, you can expect warm and friendly service by default. I know from years of experience that if something is not right Mike and Jan will work to make it right, just like most owners will. What do we eat at Boswell's? It's all good but I think the Reuben's are pretty special, as is the tuna salad, along with their omelets in the mornings. There's always something good. The other night I had marinated pork chops that were quite tasty. It's all good!

Always a nice time here. Our group meets there twice a month and the staff is always great! Patio out back is nice in the evening!

Self-seating, service was quick and efficient with a laid back atmosphere. The new potatoes were really good. They are fried and tossed in a special seasoning. The pancakes were fluffy and tasty

I really enjoy this Northside restaurant and bar. They offer a great daily menu as well as a separate one for Sunday brunch (I only had drinks during my first visit). The prices are quite reasonable, too. I especially love their patio garden, which has plenty of seating and features fantastic live music. The staff was friendly and efficient, and the overall atmosphere was really inviting. I will definitely return for a meal next time.
