Le Cap 180 - Cieurac

We had a very enjoyable typical French three course fixed menu on the terrace overlooking the runway. The service was excellent and the entrecôte steak was cooked to perfection and very tasty, not something you can often say about steak here in SW. France. Drinkable house wine , and a bill of 16 Euros a head for the lunch and wine. Good atmosphere , clean presentable restaurant.

Family restaurant in the control tower of Lalbenque airfield. Good family cooking with cheerful service and interesting outlook when the parachute club and training centre is operating.

We fly from Marmande to Cap 180 takes us about 45 mins the airport being about 1000 amsl , have been going there for some 10 yrs now , husband and wife team , always very welcoming , We can take the plane nearly up to the entrance , then sit outside in the summer and enjoy the views . Excellent set menu for about € 12 , three courses , you do of course get what you pay for but everything is really good value , went last week again . If nearby , it's worth the extra effort to drive there

Great discovery today at the Pepper Festival in Espelette! A pleasant surprise with good burgers, excellent products and a very pleasant welcome! I advise the eyes closed! Nice continuation to you!
