Tundra Inn Lounge - Churchill

Our family of visited Churchill for the first time. We had seen the Tundra Inn on TV as a part of short documentary on the town of Churchill and decided to stay as it looked quiet and homey. It met both those expectations! We were not there during bear season so our experience might have been quieter than if we had gone during that time, but we had an excellent stay. We were at the Tundra Inn for nights. We prepared breakfast on our own and most lunches also using the small kitchenette area which is equipped with a microwave and small fridge as well as sink for washing up after. There is a nice cozy dining area off the kitchenette for eating. The place was very quiet and was within an easy walk (ie: to the Northern Store, to the Museum, to the main strip that has restaurants and shops. It was also very close to Sea North Tours, which we utilized for a couple of excursions. We would definitely consider staying at the Tundra Inn again whenever we get to Churchill in the future. The Tundra Inn restaurant is right across the street and the food is excellent! We were lucky enough to be there on Friday and Saturday and were able to experience their pizza which is only available on those days. The pizza was fantastic. We also had other food there and the portions were large enough to share, which helped to cut down on cost. I would highly recommend eating at the Tundra restaurant. It is definitely the best in town. We tried a couple other places, but nothing else compared. Overall, we found both the hotel and restaurant to be excellent choices to enhance your stay in Churchill.

My husband and I recently went to Churchill Manitoba to see the polar bears. The group we were with had arranged for us to eat meals at the Tundra Inn and as we stayed in Churchill a day longer we ended up eating more meals there. Everything we tried was great. Would highly recommend the Tundra Inn if you are ever in Churchill.

Really like being your family home. easy to go personal, just to find everything, they help themselves to coffee, great tw, if the weather is bad, and especially....a great night sleep! my third visit here and never bad day with thesen menschen in churchill.
