This little bar is basic but packed with friendly locals. Bar tender was friendly and helpful. There's a great choice at the bar, including some lovely local ales and lagers. Really reasonable prices too. We enjoyed a couple in here. Price per person: £10–20 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Great beer, great place, welcoming and all round good pub

A proper pub, you don't see these places too often. It's basic, small and comfortable in the best possible sense, and I immediately felt despite being a stranger. The barman and other customers are friendly and the beer is very enjoyable. There is a small beer garden, with a large outdoor TV, so it's great to go and watch football and enjoy a nice beer.
