Not being familiar with Lebanese food I order a plate of Falafel and fries. The Falafel came in small balls deep fried in oil which were delicious, as were the fries. The wraps which my companions had looked delightful also. Friendly service and in the old town.

Only those who have no clue about Lebanese cuisine can give this place such glowing reviews. It looks and feels upscale and has table service which makes it a restaurant not a fast food joint. But that is about it. For vegetarians, there was nothing but falafel and hummus. We ordered the veggie platter, and besides these 2 items, there were big chopped pieces of cucumber and tomatoes and some bland rice. The price for this 28 francs, a total ripoff. I am sure the numerous other falafel joints in Old Town would be far better value.

Situated in the old town of Chur, Valentinos is a bit unimposing at the first glance. But it's definitively worth a visit if you like libanese food. They serve generous platters of mixed libanese mezze. The owner is Libanese and this is why the food tastes so authentic and delicious.
