Sommerau - Chur

The food is traditional Swiss, but done very well. The staff were very friendly. This isn’t a “wow” restaurant experience but you’ll certainly enjoy the food.

The restaurant is well patronized and lots of activity. The service staff was brilliant and attentive. I had the pepper whisky sauce steak and my partner local dish of pork. Both were nice and the fries which came with the meal was nice and crispy. There were 2 things wrong with this restaurant. There were so many flies!! We were in the inner most corner table and the flies annoyed me so much that I used the rolled up napkins to swat them. Must have killed at least half a dozen. We could see them at other tables but the local diners must be used to them! We ordered half a litre of house wine. This must be the most expensive house red cost us 42 f. We were surprised! In Italy the house red for a litre was around 10euro. Nothing more than 12 euro!! Yet this Swiss restaurant charged 42fr for half litre of house red! A bottle of water was 9fr. Main meals maybe 1.5 times the price in Italy but drinks and house wine is quite a different story. This restaurant maybe well recommended by locals etc but we find the flies and the cost of house wine not to our satisfaction!!!

Ein sehr sauberes Hotel. Der Parkplatz vor dem Zimmer ist einfach spitze. Das Zimmer sehr sauber. Ich hatte ein paar befürchtungen wegen der Autobahn und der Zugstrecke nebenan, aber die Fenstern haben alles isoliert. Das Essen war einfach köstlich. Ich kann es jeden empfehlen. Wir kommen sicher wieder. Danke für die Gastfreundlichkeit.

Sehr saubere Zimmer! Keine üblen Gerüche wenn man ins Zimmer reinkommt. Genug Parkplätze vorhanden direkt vor der Tür sogar. Gut geeignet für Kurzurlauber oder Dienstreisen!
