Hotel Drei Konige - Chur

I enjoyed my meal at Hotel Drei Konige. The old, wooden decor with various coats of arms and sheep horns as decorations gave a traditional feel to the place. It felt like family dining, with a large group seated together at a couple large tables...and smaller groupings throughout. I was a solo diner, yet the wait staff took care of me, like a mother getting me a plate of food after a long day. I ordered the tomato and mozzarella salad and a traditional rosti, with a couple of glasses of wine. Food was good. It came with a few hard rolls with poppy seeds on top...good Swiss bread. The dessert menu was icecream or sorbet, but I passed. I missed what my neighbors ordered for their meals, but I saw that their coffee came with Toblerone and that they got free limoncello. I didn't get any freebies... Must be if you spend more than my 44chf. I liked it and recommend it. I did get the 10% discount for being a guest at the hotel.

It is located in a good location for access to the railway station and the old town. The hotel reception is located on the first floor without elevator access there are 25 stairs to climb. The rooms are pretty basic but were clean and imaginable, although there are no tea coffee facilities in the room. Breakfast was good, but we would stay there again, it was easy to spice.

Ruhige, angenehme Bedienung. Freundlich zuvorkommend. Etwas zu ruhig, da keine Musik vorhanden war. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet und frisch zubereitet! Gerne wieder :-)

Wie schon seit jahren(20)bester service sehr freundlich und immer sehr gutes essen.zimmer ruhig und gepflegt.

Das Restaurant gehört nicht mehr zum Hotel sondern wird von jemand anderes geführt. Es hat eine gute Auswahl an Gerichten und jetzt im Herbst bieten sie auch eine „Wild“ Karte an. Der Service ist der einzige Minuspunkt. Serviert wird nur von einer Person (bei uns ein Herr) und er war leider nicht immer so zügig. Gegessen habe ich dort aber immer gut.
