Veg-Stock is a small restaurant located in the Phantip Food Market in Thong Sala. All dishes are priced at 80 baht and are pre-prepared, but can also be made to order. We tried the curry rice with vegetables in coconut sauce and the burrito filled with smoked rice, salad, and beans. The food was not spicy, but you can add chili sauce for extra heat. They also offer chili with rice, pasta, and a variety of vegetarian dishes.
This small vegetable stall is located in the Phantip food market in Thong Sala. All dishes are priced at 80 baht and are pre-prepared but heated up upon order. We sampled the curried rice with vegetables in coconut sauce and the burrito filled with curried rice, salad, and tomatoey beans. The food is not very spicy, but you can add chili sauce if desired. Other options available include chili with rice, pasta dishes, vegetable steaks, and salad. The stall opens at lunchtime, so it is recommended to arrive early for fresher food before they sell out.
This small stall at the Chumphon main morning market is located on Thanon Saladaeng road, directly across from the entrance to the market. All the food served here is vegan and reasonably priced. The dishes are delicious and made with high-quality ingredients, some of which are not commonly found in Thailand. The staff, a mother and daughter team, are very friendly and speak English well. The stall is only open for 3 hours a day, from 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM, Monday through Saturday, and closed on Sunday. While it may be a bit tricky to locate, keep an eye out for the yellow and red flags with a symbol resembling the number 17 that are typical of Jay Buddhist vegan establishments.
