Sushiya - Chula Vista

Used to come here regularly with family. I have since moved away but decided to go back due to the previously good service.However the quality of the waitstaff has taken a huge downward turn. Our waiter brought out all of our entrees at random, brought the appetizers last, and made us wait for a cold option entree the longest when it should have been the easiest to prepare. When asked about the food time he said im aware and walked away without explanation. Terrible service. 0/5 would not return.

My family (family of 4) and I stopped for dinner. We were seated immediately by the hostess. It took the waiter 10 minutes to even recognize us for water. We finally ordered our appetizer, food and waters. Two more families came in after us and ordered and received their food before us. Our appetizer finally came and the waiter spilled soy sauce on my daughter. He quickly apologized and left. We waited another 10 minutes and we decided to leave. Our main dish (3 sushi rolls) never came out. We paid for our appetizer and left. The waiter never made eye contact with us while taking our order and seemed occupied by something else. We live close by and we won't be stopping by again.

Worse place ever , over priced made my order with time , with 40 mins before getting there and got there to be told another 20 mins , taking about the chef something . For a person that works for the food industry WE all know that's b !

Food. Service and location are all first rate. The Sushi bar is closed so why not put cameras on the chefs and project them working on the TVs that everyone ignores anyway? It would be a great addition.Food: 5/5

To start off, the sushi is mid. Nothing special about it. Anyone who is a sushi lover can tell you that. And our waitress with the pink hair wasn't attentive at all either. While ordering our food she just grabs our menus without even asking if there was anything else we'd like to order. We had only ordered 2 items before she took our menus. BFFR girl.. Throughout our whole meal no one came to check up on us or asked if we needed anything else. Instead the same pink haired torta just quietly put the check on our table, without bothering to ask if we'd like dessert or anything. I was in shock because we had barely ordered anything. We took it as our sign they didn't want our money so we left it at that and went to Chili's instead since those measly sushi rolls didn't fill us up. Why operate your business if you're understaffed and why come to work if you hate your job?
