Jamba - Chula Vista

Even though San Diego is my husband 's home, we were here visiting due to a family member 's health crisis. We were staying nearby with family. I love Jamba juice and have been drinking them for years. This one was close and perfect because it ' has a drive-thru. What made the experience special was the cordial and respectful customer service we received at the drive-thru. Not only was the young man taking our order friendly, he was respectful. As we drove up and arrived to the window, we wondered who he was ?. I asked him his name, if he was from SD and complemented him on his service. His name was Joaquin Nichols. We wondered why our order took longer. We realized it was due to our request for Pineapple sherbert to be added. He personally remade our drinks after he noticed it wasn 't sufficient. It was delicious! Thanks for your awesome service and you are an asset to this location Joaquin!!!

I like how fast and clean the place is. The workers are pretty chill and fun to talk to when they are not too busy.

My husband and I love this place since it's one of the few Jambas with a drive-thru! This is located in the same plaza as the McDonald's and Home Goods.We picked up some smoothies yesterday evening through the drive-thru. I ordered a Pink Star with a Daily Vitamin boost and my husband got a Strawberry Surfrider; our usuals. Ordering was easy and there were a few cars in front of us after, but the wait wasn't too long. I ordered a medium, but they ended up making me a large, so that was a nice bonus! The smoothies were delicious and refreshing.Whenever we're down in the Otay area we prefer this location since it's more convenient with the drive-thru. I'm not sure why there are complaints about the wait as we usually don't have issues when we go, so I'm going to guess it depends on if you're there during peak hours; typically lunch rush.

It pains me to leave this review, but today we went through the drive thru. This is the second time that it has taken more than 35 minutes to get three drinks with only two cars ahead of us. I tend to be a patient person, but I think the problem is when you get to the window and it takes 5 minutes to be acknowledged. I understand it can be busy, but a simple we will be right with you can go a long way.
