Contribuiți la feedbackI happened across Brew Bar less than five minutes after parking my truck. It was my first time in Chula Vista. When I left Oakland, certain folks suggested I move to Encinitas; so I did. Encinitas is a perfectly fine place, but you won't find such beauty as Brew Bar anywhere in North County I arrived to Frida, beautifully introspective, opening. If you look around, you'll find myriad treasures upon which your eyes can feast. There is art in unexpected forms on the walls, behind the bar, down the hall...this is a place for honesty, for creativity, and for exploration. As it happens, Brew Bar's days may be numbered. I certainly hope not. I type this message to passing motorcycles, classic cars and trucks, and people of all colors and identities. Brew Bar, like Chula Vista, is a microcosm of the USA that I, a POC, love and embrace. Brew Bar is an exclamation point. Oh! My burrito was fantastic, my sake was unfiltered, and my saison is multi faceted. If you find yourself in Chula Vista, look up Brew Bar and hope that it remains open. It, like Frida, is a gem.
Brew Bar vegan kitchen. If there was zero star, I would rate this place zero star. The kitchen cook shows no interest and/or pride in his cooking. I ordered spicy pizza: pizza dough was too thick and the pizza sauce was added after because the sauce was very cold and it was not even spicy. The cook needs to find YouTube recipes how to make pizza dough and how to cook a pizza. The guy behind the counter never asked us how was our meal. I think he knows that his kitchen cook is horrible cook. I would never recommend this place. Do not eat here!
Cultivated Greens vegan restaurant is inside this. The sign is not clear from outside, their menu is limited as of now. They didn't have the stuff after my order was placed unfortunately. But the owner was super kind and offered a free kombucha for inconvenience.
Vanilla, mint, cold brew with an extra shot was good. I would like to go back and try the other coffees when I go back to San Diego. Looks like a fun little coffee shop. Customer service was great.
Been outta California for the past two weeks (east coast) and upon landing in SD I had to get some vegan food. My primo Munchie recommended this spot and it did not disappoint! I had the vegan tocino burrito w garlic rice and omgggg. I loved the tofu eggs and the slightly sweet/sticky tocino . Super filling and if you didn 't tell me this was a vegan spot I would NOT have guessed! Highly recommend if you are sick of raw vegan type of food and want more stick to your ribs cuisine. The owner is super knowledgeable about espresso and coffee and is the nicest ever. I love that.
