Costa Coffee - Christchurch

I think a girl named katie served me for my coffee, was so beautiful and made me as welcome as I recently moved into the opposite, she told me the most beautiful spots in christchurch, big coffee to visit!

Waiting time a joke!!! Staff so slow and they are not busy and now the coffee is warm!!! To interested in chatting amongst them selves!!

I usually visit on the way into work for a takeaway coffee. On this occasion I was noticed by a staff member who made and had my coffee ready before I had even paid. I don’t usually leave reviews but this was immaculate service (I...believe her name was Katie) and will continue to visit. Keep up the amazing work!!!

I went to this coffee shop with a friend and sat at a cleared table with two chairs that were placed opposite each other whilst my friend got the coffee for both of us. Just before she arrived, the manager came blustering over to our...table and moved the chair from opposite mine to the side of me saying it couldn't be moved as the area he had moved it from was a walkway! Well l had not touched the chairs as they were in that position when l sat down, l then protested that by placing the chair next to mine was not socially distanced to which he replied its OK you are together so l then replied no we are not together to which he replied if you are not together you shouldn't be sitting on the same table I then explained we were friends not a couple and live in different households and therefore need to be socially distanced from each other not sat side by side! I then moved my chair so l was opposite my friends chair to which he was complaining that we shouldn't move the furniture! His parting comment to my friend who very calmly had asked him to kindly refrain from shouting as this whole incident was played out in front of the entire cafe full of people and he was extremely rude and shouting his orders at us, told her in a very loud voice to SIT DOWN!! He then stormed away! This whole incident was extremely embarrassing for us played out in a full cafe through no fault of ours, all we RFID was sat at a table that was already laid out in the position it was in. I would like to say that the other staff were very nice and efficient but he was so rude and in need of some customer service training!! I doubt I will go there again and certainly won't recommend it!! Bad for business to have someone so obnoxious working for you!!

Really shocked wanted to wash my hands as no hand gels anywhere and I walked out.. no way this has been cleaned in quite sometime
