Veg'n Friends - Christchurch

What a wonderful place this is, the homely feel, the friendly people and the delicious, homemade food. You can really tell that everything is made with love here, and that's what sets this place a part from a lot of places we've been to everything is homemade from the heart. We tried nearly one of every cake, and our favourite three in order from 1 3 were the Mocha Cake, Caramel Sponge and Banana Caramel Cake but honestly, all of them are extremely good and worth mentioning that they all taste deliciously. We also tried the spanikopita which was SO GOOD! I could eat many more of those. We also had the cheese and mushroom empanada and the creamy corn empanada, both of which had great flavours and textures with a lovely pastry. When we return to Christchurch, we will be back!! We stopped in on the way home from a road trip, which also happened to be one their one year anniversary birthday! Great service, friendly staff and yummy food. The empanadas were great! While there's another vegan place close by, don't miss coming to these guys as well!!

Had an espresso, brownie, hot chocolate and some dark chocolate shared with 3 year old. Delicious. All vegan food.
