Straits Café (rendezvous Christchurch)

An ideal spot for business travelers. The beds are comfortable, the lighting is excellent, and there are plenty of plug outlets available. Valet parking is a breeze, and everything you might need is within walking distance. The only minor downside is that the restaurant doesn't serve lunch, but there are plenty of alternatives nearby, so it's hardly a real issue. I absolutely loved the balcony room. The customer service is outstanding; they truly make you feel valued.

I stayed at this beautiful hotel for three nights in 2018, and I must say that the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Our room offered lovely views of the mountains. There were several local attractions within walking distance, making it easy to explore the area. The valet parking was also offered at a very reasonable rate. Overall, it was a delightful stay, and I would give them a 5-star rating for their hospitality!

Fantastic hotel with a central location, making it easy to walk to attractions, bars, and restaurants. Our room was spotless, featuring a comfortable bed and a bathroom stocked with lovely toiletries. We dined at the hotel restaurant on one evening during our three-day visit, and the food was outstanding. The service was prompt and friendly. I highly recommend this place and look forward to staying here again.

Great downtown location. Really nice rooms and good tasty filter coffee provided! Valet parking took a bit of getting used to but it worked do well and the car was always ready for us when we ordered it. Tram stops are right beside the hotel. Handy fir jumping on and off!

The service was great, the kitchen food is excellent, it was so good that we ended up dining in most nights as it was great. The rooms are warm and quiet, lots of power points at the desk for charging the goods , the plumbing was excellent in the bathroom. Everything was just new and fresh. For a business trip this hotel is great, (maybe not a romantic get away place, great location. You can pay more and get a nicer hotel but money for jam this place is great.
