Gelato Tea - Christchurch

Black Hawaii its so hard to describe, its like a coconut flavor with Coco, but then its color of pitch black!! no doubt my favorite taste in this little cute new opening Gelato shop in the city! The next time will try to ensure their traditional Taiwanese bubble tea as they have some alternative milk to offer!

The taste wasn't terrible, but it didn't resemble vanilla and lacked creaminess. It had a slightly powdery texture. I wouldn't order it again. There were also two other vegan sorbet flavors that I didn't sample.

We enjoyed trying the classic Vanilla Chocolate Shake made with almond milk at this restaurant. The vegan ice cream and milkshake options were very delicious and creamy.

Black Hawaii is difficult to put into words because it combines the flavors of coconut and cocoa in a pitch-black color. It's my favorite flavor at this charming new gelato shop in the city! I can't wait to try their traditional Taiwanese bubble tea next time, especially since they offer alternative milks as well.
