Blax Espresso - Christchurch

Called in here to have a work meeting, worker was sitting down at the back. Prompt greeting into the cafe, ordered coffees, grilled cheese rolls and a toastie. Coffee was quite good, cheese rolls were OK and the toastie was nice, but had a bit too much tomato in it. A good tip here is to remove the woody core from the tomato before adding it to the toasty. That wasn't so nice to eat.

Good coffee and caramel walnut brownie is delicious. Great little stop of down Victoria st...been here a few times ..

Great coffee, our now go to place as we work close by. Friendly and welcoming too

Delicious perfectly cooked whitebait sandwich at Blax washed down with a generous pot of citrus spice tea. While the entrance and indoor decor are no-frills, the welcome and service are warm and friendly.

Cool place. Didn't try the coffee, but the food (poached eggs with feta and avocado mash) was tasty.
