Great selection of cakes, generous meals and nice hot drinks. Free parking and not a long way off the motorway a great alternative to service stations! Lovely surroundings and friendly enough staff. What's not to like!

A lovely cafe just behind Astley Park. Very quick service and it’s nice to see inside one of the old buildings on the park. Very good food and polite staff. Would recommend

Always helpful pleasant when serving you and when I'm on my scooter they'll carry my tray outside to the table for me... Love sitting in the outdoors there but ..... BEWARE the tempting cakes

Slightly upmarket café. Ideal place to stop, rest and treat yourself. There 's a great selection of cakes to go with a tea, coffee or hot chocolate (with whipped cream and marshmallows). Hot food is good too particularly the soups. Soft drinks are available; the usual fizzy junk plus a few 'adult ' bottled drinks, like lightly sparkling elderflower if you 're feeling posh. The lovely outdoor seating is within the old, red brick stable courtyard. Staff are efficient, polite and helpful.
