The only letdown was the limited options for desserts, and the Eton Mess cheesecake did not live up to its name. A good crumble would be a great addition to the menu. Overall, the service was top-notch and the atmosphere was great. Recommended dish: Sunday Roast Beef. Dining in for dinner cost around £20-30 per person.
I found the food to be bland and lacking in flavor. It did not live up to its description as fruity or limey. Other guests who were with me also mentioned the same. The service was decent, with a rating of 5 out of 5, and the atmosphere was nice as well. The price per person for dinner was between £20-30.
During our visit on Sunday, we were disappointed with the service and overall experience at this restaurant. Despite it not being full, we expected better service. While the staff were friendly, they were not attentive. Tables were not cleared promptly after customers left, and there was a lack of awareness regarding the timing of our main courses. Our drinks were served with empty glasses left on the table, and the lamb was served without mint sauce. My chicken dish was overcooked and the mashed potatoes were dry. The vegetables seemed to have been sitting under a heat lamp for too long. Additionally, another table that arrived after us received their main course before us. Overall, we did not have a positive experience. Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Food: 2 Price per person: £60-70 Meal type: Dinner.
