Urpicha del Colca - Chivay

Nestor and his wife will host them in their restaurant and give them a simple menu of the day with few alternatives that are very carefully and very well prepared. we had fish, huh and alpaca, all good quality. the greeting we had. from the couple was especially warm.

We've been walking around and trying to find this place. it seemed surprising that our lodge was not familiar with her. when we found it, there was no one. it looked closed.

We held here as part of a 2 day tour. there were no other guests and we relaxed at the long courtesy. Eating is Peruvian and delicious. the menu is limited, but the clips, forelle, alpaca etc are there. the chicha was very refreshing!

Just stay longer to learn more about the area and the history of the region and pre-Inca cultures....this is as interesting as any other location in Peru
