Bistro On The Square - CHIPPING CAMPDEN

Superior hotel food. The menu was small but we had no difficulty finding what we wanted. The portions were good, so we left full, not over full. The Green gaspacho soup and the bruschetta were very good starters. For mains we had beef strip and a chicken dish, both well cooked and presented. It was a welcome meal for our stay in Chipping Campden

From the exuberant and warm welcome we received as we walked in the door through the serving it dessert our experience was wonderful. I LOVED my Fettuccine with Stuffed Courgette and my husband enjoyed his Striploin. Wine and cordials wear excellent. Service was outstanding. Our favorite restaurant while on. 2-week trip to England.

Service a bit slow but the food was good and the ambiance was fine. The salmon starter was exceptionally good, as was the beefburger. Not cheap but alright given modern eating out costs!

We had booked for brunch only to discover this was no longer available so we attended an hour later and enjoyed a lunch we were not disappointed the food was excellent and a special small meal of eggs on toast for our granddaughter went down a treat
