Afternoon Tea At Fig - CHIPPING CAMPDEN

Unfortunately afternoon tea was not much about the price and comparison this with other places. The food was nice enough, but I didn't feel there was a lot of it. The cakes were poor, but sandwiches and scones were nice. The service was terrible. We were greeted by a waitress who was dirty, then it took age to take our tea job, then the afternoon tea took a while to come. The recording of the afternoon tea on the website sounded great, including the great view when we were in fact in a tiny stuffing room with absolutely no atmosphere at all and just looking at the parking lot! Unfortunately, I will not rush back or recommend this to friends and family who is a shame because we are very happy to do this on our child-free journey away.

We have afternoon tea for my parents 52. Wedding day booked! All staff were so welcoming on arrival the food with the service was excellent...

I love afternoon tea here, it's the second time I've been in 3 months. The staff is beautiful and nothing is too much. Both times we have taken a young baby so it has been there for a long time and made the best of the beautiful room and log fire in winter. The sandwiches and treats are very delicious, the Scones a little hard... but maybe we should have eaten them faster than they were freshly heated! I'll be back soon.

There is no ambience in the Fig. The afternoon tea itself was average and in all honesty you would have been better off in one of the many tea rooms there are in the Cotswolds
