The Brasserie At Lucknam Park

We had made a reservation at the brasserie for our New Year's Eve dinner, and we received confirmation, so we were all set for a great evening. However, when we arrived, there was no one in sight! It appeared that they had an event and closed the restaurant without updating their booking system or OpenTable. The place was completely shut down, and our plans for the night were ruined. We ended up going back to our hotel room to order takeout. We are really shocked that such an establishment could make such an easily preventable mistake. It was quite embarrassing, and our New Year's Eve was definitely underwhelming. Please ensure this doesn't happen again!

The service was friendly and the food was great. The portion sizes are on the smaller side, making it easy to enjoy three courses.

This restaurant is situated in a fantastic location deep in the Wiltshire countryside, right next to a Michelin-starred hotel restaurant, which certainly influences the dining experience at the brasserie. The modern setting enhances the enjoyable dining experience.

Good start with the wait staff but it declined during our meal. At one point, there were four staff members milling around the bar and I couldn't get any of them to pay us any attention. We had finished our meal at this point and wanted to order dessert. It took ages to get them to do that. And an almost equally painful amount of time to get our bill at the end.

Tried the Brasserie as the Restaurant is being refurbished. Was the first time we have visited Lucknam Park and overall it was ok but staff were pleasant but sloppy at times eg. Chair pulled out but not offered; the house Pinot Grigio unbelievably ran out which for a quality restaurant shouldn't happen. I could go on, but overall very overpriced such as house viognier £12.40 a glass; Pollock at £20 for a piece of fish 3 x2 with potatoes an extra cost Overall although pleasant staff it wasn't good value and sadly we probably won't rush back soon
