Le Karolus Pub Chinon France

It was a perfect light, late lunch when everything else was a la carte. The waitress and chef were friendly and spoke a little English but the food, I think made from scratch to order, was lovely. ‘Ravioli’ was more like prawn mommas but very tasty as were the spring rolls. Some good beer too and all a reasonable price in a nice locals’ atmosphere.

It's not great cuisine but for the price it's worth it for a little fast food! Super nice boss! I recommend

It all depends on what you expect, but in reality: Karolus is surely one of the only establishments in Chinon that allows you to eat on the go for a reasonable price. The service is friendly and involved, normal prices for croques monsieur which are quite good and the salad served generously. We prefer it when the boss puts on his great music rather than the TV with the horrible CNEWS to scare away the mass of customers. In short, good value for money, impeccable service, normal prices, what could be better???
