Pico Taqueria - Chincoteague

My husband is vegan and this restaurant met his dietary needs perfectly. I am vegetarian and occasionally eat fish, so I tried the shrimp bowl. It was delicious. The cauliflower tacos were also excellent!

I will not deduct any stars for the limited variety at venues on Chincoteague Island. Pico Taqueria serves a delicious and filling "Deep Hole" taco bowl with rice, beans, pico, cauliflower, onions, and cilantro. They also offer vegan hot sauces. The staff were knowledgeable and accommodating, and it seems like other dishes could be made vegan upon request. The frozen margaritas were also excellent. (Note: Review updated on 2022-07-13)

At first glance, the menu may not seem very inviting, but we were able to make substitutions and ended up with a delicious version of the Deep Hole bowl. The staff was very helpful and accommodating.

We visit every year. The food and service are exceptional.

The food is simply amazing. The atmosphere is nice and the wait times are decent. They give you a buzzer and boom, delicious food. I recommend the city bowls and street corn.
