Michelle, our server, was the best. We were down to two choices...she's a great help. Had the smothered Toasties (ong fantastic choice)and peach colada to start. Then she brought warm rolls...yum. Smothered flounder with sides. Did the meal for two. Could not do dessert...too full! Great place and Michelle was great too!! Started taste testing before pictures.

Food is very good! 1st time for me to eat soft crab. Really good! Great soups for appetizers!

Don't know why they don't have more reviews, but this is one of the must-dine places in Chincoteague. And whoever said the service was slow must have been impatient; the waitstaff serve pretty much as quickly as any other establishment. If they were complaining about a long wait to get seated, that's not unusual if the place is that good.

The staff was very friendly, but the food was quite underwhelming . Flounder had skin left on, and was seriously overcooked.

I spent the weekend visiting the Chesapeake Bay in Maryland and Virginia and this was the best dinner we had. The food wasn 't fancy and neither was the service--it was plain spoken and efficient--and the smothered flounder tasted like flounder, generously portioned and seasoned to perfection with Cajun spice and a buttery sauce and topped with succulent, perfectly cooked shrimp, scallops and crab. My dining companion had a half portion of the broiled scallops and enjoyed it thoroughly (and appreciated the just right size). Both of these menu options were good for takeout which we carried over to the picnic tables on the dock overlooking the bay. Prices were very reasonable. I would give another half star if I could, but half a star off because my side of wild rice could have been hotter.
