We go here quite often when we want a meal that is better than your average pub grub.

Great food and beer nice setting overlooking golf course and cricket field so nice for the summer ,and winter roaring log fire inthe bar

What a wonderful find....a real olde world real pub.... with enthusiastic lady.... very nice and helpful, good ambiance place.. very clean..and fresh...nice drinks, excellent food and good selection, compliments to the chef...... definitely will go again....

We are occasional visitors to this pub and are never disappointed. With the hope of seeing the Persieds meteor shower we headed to the dark skies of Ley Hill. Cloudy sky thwarted the view but what a fabulous meal we had in the meantime.

Popped in after a family and football weekend. My husband is from the area and wanted to visit old haunts. The food was excellent especially my Seafood Pot Au Feu it was fresh, perfectly balanced and cooked! The wine list was well thought out and competitively priced and the beer well kept. A very enjoyable Sunday Lunch experience in charming surroundings
