Harte Magpies Pub - Chiltern

Called in for a quick pint on way home from work. Friend ordered a Grolsh. The beer was clearly a bit off . We mentioned it to the landlord who went on to tell us we dont know what it should taste like. Will not go back there again.

I arrived early and was impressed by the outstanding food and service at this charming pub. The prices were reasonable and I will definitely be returning in the future.

We are regulars here as it’s a lovely walk, the food is always very good and the team always super friendly. Today was no exception and the roast was absolutely superb! Delicious, generous and lots of lovely fresh veggies! We will be back again very soon!

We had lunch in the pub as a walking group of 18. They provided excellent communication when providing them with our pre-order lunch order, and an excellent service this afternoon in providing our food. I would recommend any walking group to visit the pub for their lunch, food was good value for money. Very friendly staff!

The Harte Magpies continues to serve some of the best food around. The staff are very welcoming and friendly and really appreciate your custom. During the warmer weather, there's a large garden in which families can bring their children to play, the pub is dog-friendly, smokers wishing to eat outside can do so with no problem and all these groups are all easily catered for.
