Wild Cat Grill - Chilliwack

Attended from another city just to come here for dinner on July 7, 5pm. We left Harrison Lake approx. 25 minutes away and this well known restaurant with a nice clear plastic border for wind and out door patio is the place for lots of great tasting food. We sat down as no waitress for out door seating and found a nice sunny spot with a umbrella. Table was big, long, clean and in no time a waitress came and wiped it down for us. We ordered drinks after getting the menu's. Happy hour is 3-6pm, we were a little confused as H.H. drink prices some same as the regular menu, such as beer. Our drinks came in very good time, Caesar was special and great! Food also came in good time and veal as well as spaghetti was great tasting. Our waitress Lucy-13 was nice but appeared very busy inside and out side on the patio. We waited for another drinks some time and got another waitress to tell her. She came in good time then. Definitely very full, nice outside, quiet, lots of room between tables. Got our bill and had to go inside to pay, no portable machine. When we got home a waitress put one too many drinks on our bill so phoned Jenny manager. She was so nice, just no problem to refund us one drink price, easy mistake. Thank you. We enjoyed the tasty food so will be back soon. Prices are fair for country restaurant. Can see Para gliders from a near by mountain, go to the Shell just across hwy 1 and see interesting shops, murals, and rock museum, golf course rd to Bridle Falls. Inside of Wildcat Restaurant look very nice for seating and décor. Good for all ages. Happytravels.

We visited the WIldcat Grill on a warm Friday evening and decided the patio was the place to sit. Happy Hour was still on so I was pleased to order a glass of Chaberton wine at "happy hour" pricing. Great value. For the meal, I ordered the 7 oz prime rib and it did not disappoint. Cooked to my liking, the meat was tender and the meal came with a good assortment of vegetables - and roasted potatoes. My husband ordered one of the specials, a rib steak - and he was equally pleased with his meal. Nice place to spend Friday evening.

The wife had the Turkey dinner special I had the 7 Oz prime rib....which was to die for cooked exactly as ordered medium rare the side medley of vegetables included a nice amount of squash.. To full to order dessert.

I ordered the Corned Beef-sandwich with a half Caesar and half Fries. The sandwich was excellent, lots of Corned beef, a nice fresh eye and a wonderful mustard on it. I like the fact it was simple, yet excellent; no frills or rubbishy artisan interpretations. I always have believe you can tell a restaurant by its Caesar Salad. This one was fresh and no brown or black edges on the lettuce!! Not even a little bit. Fries were excellent also, seemed hand cut. My server, Genevieve, was Pleasant, relaxed, non rushed yet attentive. Will be going back for lunch again.

Would go back and it is a destination soups are great and lots of choice on the menu the service was excellent
